Bound by Fear

'Bound by Fear' is my graduate film from The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) 2020. The project got extended  to late March 2021 due to Covid-19 Restrictions. This film was inspired by the book You are Special by Max Lucado and the ideas of  belief in yourself and trust in your creator.The story is set with a lonely bookbinder who creates new life through his books, however, when a devious shadow steals the light of the forest Leo the lizard must fight for his life. Like all my films 'Bound by Fear' explores stop motion and special effect techniques such as the use of blacklight, use of LED lighting, water gel effects and glass water reflection, liquid latex posable flowers and multilane animating just to name a few.
